Hard to believe that the first YouTube video was uploaded only five years ago today.
From an amusing elephant video (I agree, elephant trunks are cool) to iconic status in less than a few years stands testament to the speed of Internet time.
(Unfortunately while becoming iconic may be possible at amazing speeds, my understanding that become profitable is still a bit of a time consuming process.)
And that time is further compressing if you consider that the iPhone became iconic in less time than that.
