Seeing value in the single currency

Somewhat ironic that given all the recent talk about the ultimate demise of the Euro, there are actually countries still lining up to join the party. So someone, somewhere, must still see value in the single currency.

Will the Euro evolve? Sure, some countries may leave and do so for reasons that will benefit both the country and the currency. But die out? Not when there is a line-up outside of countries wanting to join.
