New wave of apps: Productivity

Right now everyone is getting excited about games and social network apps on mobile devices. And to be sure, these are great apps and we’ll always love to carry them wherever we go (I do Words with Friends at every down-second)

But I’ve seen data that suggests people have a longer and deeper relationship with productivity apps on their mobile. The only other app that seems to command as much attention over a sustained period of time are news apps.
