West gets schooled on finances

Amazing how the world is evolving… It used to be that the West would lecture paternally to other countries on how to run their finances.

I hope we’re as good at getting the message as we are in giving it. I wonder how long it will be until we are similarly lectured in the US.

But ultimately, I think this is a good thing. In our increasingly interconnected world, there needs to be a sense of collective responsibility and accountability.

An isolationist China is not in the world’s best interest so it is interesting to see it figure out how and when to flex it’s financial muscle.
